Jesse Griffith is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter, director, and visual effects artist whose work spans two feature films, multiple produced short films, and over two decades of professional storytelling across film and television.
By day he works as a graphics and VFX artist on Jimmy Kimmel Live! — one of late night television's longest-running shows. By night he writes the kinds of stories that have haunted him since childhood: sci-fi thrillers, animated musicals, tales of people in impossible situations making very human choices.
His short film Cockpit: The Rule of Engagement won the Douglas Trumbull Award for Special Effects, screened at Comic-Con, and surpassed 1.5 million views on YouTube. His debut sci-fi feature Demon Star — the full expansion of that story — is currently in post-production.
